Excuse the hyperbole, but Lift is one of the finest documentaries I’ve ever seen. Director Marc Issacs set himself up in the elevator of a middle class apartment building in London and uses it as his own confessional.

I’d rather not say too much more, because the film unfolds itself beautify. Just watch.
